Activating a code

If you are new to Shift Codes, read this section to learn where and how to enter the codes. If you already know it, ignore this topic.

Start the game, go to Extras, then Shift Codes. There, you need to register a Shift account, or if you already have one, log into it. There, you will have a space to enter a 25 character code that stands from numbers and letters. You just need to highlight the code in the guide, hold CTRL and press C (copy to clipboard), then go to your game, click in the zone where you need to input the commands and use CTRL+V combination to paste your code. Head Codes

These commands will unlock you heads for your characters, you can equip them in a Quick Change Machine, there is one in the Sanctuary.

I only know 6 codes, but all of them should work. Every code here unlocks a head for the 6 characters (one for each). You need the “Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep’s” DLC I think, because the skins looks similar to that DLC’s theme. The Krieg and the Gaige skins only work if you have those DLC’s too.

Golden keys are used to unlock the golden chest located in sanctuary. They can be used to get purple and e-tech rarity items. You can get them by inputting a shift code (which are located on the twitter here https://twitter.com/dgShiftCodes). You can input shift codes by going to the main menu, then into extras.

Why should I use Golden Keys?

Golden keys can be very useful if you need better gear at a lower level. If you already have good gear then selling the items from the chest is a good way to get money if needed. Since the golden chest can only spawn purple and e-tech gear it is a very good way to farm for e-tech launchers when first entering UVHM.
